Rosemount Youth Centre’s Annual Summer Scheme

The Western Education and Library Board’s (WELB) Rosemount Youth Centre’s annual Summer Scheme will run from 16 July until 10 August 2012, Monday to Thursday.

The Summer Scheme registration day will take place on Friday 13 July 2012 from 1.00pm until 3.00pm at Rosemount Youth Centre.

This friendly, vibrant club offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities to cater for children and young people with diverse interests and abilities.

The day time programme will operate from 12.00pm - 3.00pm for children from P1 - P7, and will run a variety of activities such as, hairdressing, show and tell, fancy dress, events and day trips, face painting, a talent show and a barbeque.

The night time programme will run from 6.30pm - 10.30pm for young people aged 12+. There will be competitions held in football, pool and table tennis.  This year’s activities will include trips to Laser Quest; Lagan Valley Leisure Complex; Todd’s Leap (Zorbing) and Dundonald Ice Bowl.

The Youth Centre will also provide a skill gained accredited OCN Course in Law and Order which aims to engage young people from the area in positive development activities.
