Jason received this award having shown particular effort, resilience and determination in overcoming his disability.
Jason is a very special young man. Despite the many health related issues he has faced, Jason shows tremendous determination to play as full a role as possible in the working environment. Whilst many of us like to complain about the multitude of things that we think are wrong at our work or how undervalued we feel, Jason particularly relishes coming to work to have a structure to his day and a valued role to play. Making a positive contribution to the overall objective provides a great deal of satisfaction and a sense of achievement for Jason. Jason, likes to be kept up to date with the news and office craic. Jason’s manager Albert Monteith WELB Accounts Officer, said: "I am aware of his ability to keep people on their toes. Jason likes structure and routine to his working day and if something does not happen when expected he is quick to contact others to let them know something did not arrive or something has not been collected. Jason is a very independent young man who is very worthy of this award."
