Schools Counselling

The School Counselling Service is an independent confidential service available to post primary schools participating in the pilot project, in partnership with the WELB. Its purpose is to support children and young people in school who may have significant worries or concerns about any aspect of their lives.

In addition NSPCC provide a counselling service within WELB Schools.  Such counselling services operate alongside existing welfare and support services and contributes to the overall system of pastoral care in the school.
