FURTHER EDUCATION AWARDS
The Western Education and LIbrary Board on behalf of the five Education and LIbrary Boards offers a limited number of Further Education Awards each year for full-time and part-time courses which do not attract support under the Student Support Regulations.
Dance and Drama courses. Students are only eligible to receive a Further Education Award if they take the Trinity College London qualification available at 21 private dance and drama schools in England and have accepted the Dance and Drama from that school.
The closing date for applications for fulltime courses is 30 June 2010
The closing date for applications for part-time courses is 30 September 2010.
Late applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the event more funding becomes available.

What's new for 2010/2010
The childcare grant has been extended to include part time students for the 2010/2011 academic year. It should be noted that whilst closing dates apply to the Further Education Awards a closing date is not applicable to childcare grant claims i.e. students can claim childcare throughout the academic year. STUDENTS
The Western Education and Library Board also administers on
behalf of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
(DARD) awards for students studying fulltime Further Education
courses at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural
