The Local Management of Schools (LMS) Section provides a financial service to schools in relation to the management of the LMS Common Funding Scheme and the Board's Guidance on Financial Management of LMS Schools. It also provides an advisory service to schools with regard to their delegated LMS budgets and assists schools in the preparation of three-year financial plans and the monitoring of expenditure against budgets. The Section is responsible for the control and monitoring of all temporary teacher returns in relation to the Northern Ireland Substitute Register (NISTR) in accordance with DE policy and Board procedures.
