Board Members
Selection and appointment processes are underway to appoint
members to the Western Education and Library Board during the
transitional period up to the establishment of the Education
and Skills Authority.
Until these transitional arrangements have been put in place,
the Education Minister, Caitríona Ruane, has agreed to extend
the terms of office of some existing members in the Western
Education and Library Board. The extensions have been agreed
with the Commissioner for Public Appointments. These can
